Chordle is designed to work well in situations where different band members play different instruments. This means that not everybody wants to see the capoed chords.

You can control whether you are shown capoed chords using the Always show uncapoed chords option in the song presentation settings pane. Turn this off to see capoed chords; turn it on to always see the underlying (uncapoed) chords, regardless of the capo position.

If you find that Chordle isn’t transposing capoed chords in the way that you would expect, make sure that this setting is configured appropriately.

💡 While playing a song, you can also toggle this quickly from the key selector, where the same setting is labelled Show capoed chords.
